I've been reconsidering the blogging thing lately. While I like the opportunity to write regularly, I'm not sure I want to publish half-formed thoughts and casual musings right now. I think a different rhythm, one in which I write in a more sustained fashion on a limited number of topics (i.e., reviews, essays and the like) might make more sense. Still figuring it out though.

Alas, half-formed is well beyond me. I hope one day to elevate my thoughts to quarter-formed. I think I'll use measuring spoons and cups to visualize the leap from the current, scant 1/8 tsp. to the desired, level 1/4 cup.

I struggle with this all the time Mark, though for me it is less about half-formed thoughts, than it is creative energy.

When I started blogging a few years ago, I would post complete stories, often memories from my childhood. Eventually I ran out of memories, and now tend to post bits of news, or things that amuse me--not as much of a bite in that ol' creative energy.

I enjoy the connection blogging gives me me with other writers like you, Lisa, Brenda, Tracy, Ariel, Pete...so many more. I can't remember how this connection came about, but I am grateful for it.
